Her Story from His Point of View

Our Story

The question that keeps coming up is “why didn’t we meet earlier in life?” It’s something we can’t answer. That we met and have come this far down the road of relationship we are thankful to God for His grace, mercy, and abundant love.

Outside of that, it’s hard to know where to begin “Our Story” and while sifting through the moments over the past seven years that led us to this point of inviting you all to our traditional wedding, we’re still at a loss.

The scripture that resonates with where our lives are is Psalm 23, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.”

Even though we met relatively late in our lives, we believe that our advanced age and dare we say ‘maturity’ allows us to have a level of enjoyment of each other and appreciation of each other’s views that our ‘younger’ selves would have most likely judged.
